Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop #90

I'm still reeling from the news in Connecticut, my dear friends. I can't fathom how such a thing can happen to all those beautiful children. That morning, I took off from work to attend Princess Two's holiday concert at school. You can just imagine the "high" all excited parents exhibited (including me) when they saw all the kindergarteners perform on stage. I went back to work feeling happy with all the cute pictures I took and the video I recorded. At a later time, this shocking news broke, and the day wasn't cheerful anymore. It hit close to home after seeing the little ones at school so innocent and adorable. I can't imagine how the victims' families feel this Christmas and my prayers are with them. That's a parent's worst nightmare and I hope that no such thing will happen again. As a parent, I can't bear the thought of seeing that Christmas stocking for a child who won't be there anymore to open up the goodies on Christmas day. I'm sorry to open up this party on such a sad note but I hope you understand.
