I'm happy to share with you the news that we already started yesterday getting quotes to replace our old garage door. We are opting for a roll-up door this time, instead of the old-fashioned tilt up one. With a few signatures from our neighbor and an approval from our homeowners' association, we're good to go.
Friends, I love being a mother but the aspect of it that I dislike occurred again this week. Last Wednesday, as soon as I picked up Princess One from school, she complained feeling so cold, which was unusual considering it was a hot day then. Then it happened - her temperature shot up to 105.4 (Yep, you read that right. Since she was an infant, I had to contend with this temperature whenever she gets sick.) My hubby took her to the doctor on Thursday and on that same day, Princess Two started throwing up. Friday came and Princess Two had a 102.3 fever, so I took sick time off from work to take her to the doctor, too. Two sick kids, my friends! I love taking good care of my kids, but the worry and sleepless nights when they are sick are the most grueling aspect of motherhood for me - and I don't enjoy them. I guess these situations are the ones that make a mother appreciate more the lull and fun moments with her children...sigh. The good news is through Tylenol and Ibuprofen, their fevers are now contained and that bland diet for Princess Two worked. Thank goodness! Ok, back to our regular programming.
Samantha from Crafty Texas Girls discussed great points on how to take better photos. If you want to improve your composition or to simply get some tips to give your photos more ooomph, check out Samantha's post. This is especially useful for us who are in the DIY and crafting niche.
You clicked, inlinkz tallied. The readers' favorite blog post this past week, being the most viewed post, is The Simple Things' baking jar labels. It's both decorative and functional - one can easily tell which is which.
To the main course of this post.
For those of you joining us for the first time, we only have 2 easy, simple rules:
1) Link up your creative post - can be a DIY project, decor, photography, crafts, recipes, poem, thrift finds, link party, or that informative syndicated post that can make us laugh, or cry - in short, whatever you're proud of! And if you like to link more creative posts, go for it! We'd love to see them :) (No links to businesses or giveaways. We have another party for these exclusively every Tuesday called Market Your Biz & Giveaways at 5 pm, PST.)
2) Follow as many blogs as you desire, either via Google Friend Connect or Linky Followers, preferably starting first with the one who linked before you and after you, before branching out, and let them know by leaving a comment. (Following me will be very much appreciated, and I definitely follow back. Just let me know you're following.)
Displaying the party button on your blog, while optional, is very much appreciated :) It will help you remember to come back and link up to the the happiest blog party on the block (ahem!). It will also help others find their way to the party which we all love because the more the merrier :)
Link opens up every Sunday at 5:00 pm, PST and ends Friday at 11:59 pm.
Friends, go ahead and get to know each :) One followed blogger is one gained friend. And please, don't forget to join my Market Your Biz and Giveaways blog party every Tuesday at 5 pm, PST. It's your chance for free promotion of your family-friendly business and giveaways.

Burning question: What's the most grueling part of motherhood for you? For me, it's when the children get sick, resulting to me worrying too much to the point of expecting the worst-case scenario. How about you?
