Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop 09.18.11

Whew! What a whirlwind week for me, both in my blogging and professional life. I hosted the bath edition of Roomspiration last Friday and oh my! Writing that post to be on par with the other fabulous bloggers hosting the other rooms took much brain energy out of me. In addition to that, I've been drowning with tons of things to do at work that I just barely stayed afloat on things (well, not only me, but everybody in our office, actually, is so totally swamped.) How about you? Hope it was a great week for you, too! Welcome to our 25th week of CBPH!

My co-host this week is Nan @ Playful Decor. It's her second time to co-host with me and I'm happy to have her back. She's the power behind every Tuesday's link party called Tuesday's Nurseries, where you can link up nurseries, tot, tween, and teen rooms.

Go ahead and say hi to Nan! Her blog has great posts about DIYs and parenting, but the thing that I love most is her To-Do checklist called To-Do For Our Re-Do!

Blog Tip
While He Was Napping gave useful tips on how to increase your site traffic. Great post to boost your pageviews and number of visitors.

Favorite Blog
You clicked, inlinkz tallied. The readers' favorite blog post this past week out of 200 links, being the most viewed post, is Betterncourt Chase's wedding photos of Melissa and Joseph. The photos are absolutely stunning so you got to see them yourself.

Our Party
To the main course of this post.
For those of you joining us for the first time, we only have 2 easy, simple rules:

1) Link up your creative post - can be a DIY project, decor, photography, crafts, recipes, poem, thrift finds, link party, or that informative syndicated post that can make us laugh, or cry - in short, whatever you're proud of! And if you like to link more creative posts, go for it! We'd love to see them :) (No links to businesses or giveaways. We have another party for these exclusively every Tuesday called Market Your Biz & Giveaways at 5 pm, PST.)

2) Follow as many blogs as you desire, preferably starting first with the one who linked before you and after you, before branching out, and let them know by leaving a comment. (Following me and the co-host will be very much appreciated, and we definitely follow back. Just let us know you're following.)

Displaying the party button on your blog, while optional, is very much appreciated :) It will help you remember to come back and link up to the the happiest blog party on the block (ahem!). It will also help others find their way to the party which we all love because the more the merrier :)

Link opens up every Sunday at 5:00 pm, PST and ends Friday at 11:59 pm.

Because I like something different, I'm using the reverse entry for inlinkz - so the most recent participant will show up as number 1, thus giving everybody a chance to have the #1 spot.

Friends, go ahead and get to know each :) One followed blogger is one gained friend. And please, don't forget to join my Market Your Biz and Giveaways blog party every Tuesday at 5 pm, PST. It's your chance for free promotion of your family-friendly business and giveaways.

Burning question: How do you contact google?

I renewed my domain name with google and I never thought any much of it til' I received this email:

This message confirms we have renewed your domain registration for with eNom . Your credit card has been charged $10 and your domain registration is valid until September 15, 2011 .

Am I reading it right? I paid and my domain registration is valid only until September 15, 2011?! That sent my panic level soaring so I kept looking and looking for ways to contact google and verify if it's really 2011 or if they meant 2012. You see, normally, my rational mind always prevails at times like this but what worried me was if my domain only lasted til September 15, 2011, where would bloggers look for my virtual home on the 16th - the very day that I'm hosting the Roomspiration blog party? Everyday since I received this automated email from google, I've been finding ways to contact them. No luck. Thank goodness my domain was up and running the next day so it must be a typo on their part. (Sigh of relief.) Any ideas how to contact google easily?
