Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop 05.22.11

Welcome to our 8th Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop! How are you, my friends? Me, this past week has been bitter-sweet. Bitter because one of my friends experienced the worst nightmare a parent could have. Her 15-year old son took out his life, and it's a sad, sad time for them, and for all of us who know them. Friends, life is so fragile so forget how much annoying our kids can be, just hug them and flood them with kisses, accompanied by I LOVE YOUs! If they're past that stage, an encouraging "Hey, dude!" will do. We can never tell what tomorrow brings. In the other end of life spectrum, my friend who just got recently married is now 14 weeks pregnant! We all love babies and baby stories (excluding the first 3.5 months of pregnancy, of course) and this news sorta balanced out the heavy emotional load by the first news.

Ok, enough of my week's drama and proceed to our fun party :)

Burning question: What's your favorite part of your home?

My favorite part is the dining area. I know I haven't posted anything about our dining area because we haven't started improving it yet. But I love this area because it's where we exchange our stories as a family. It's where we enjoy home-cooked meals while sharing what went on during our day. How about you? Please do share.
