Swap Followings Linky Pary 03.07.11

Welcome, my dear friends! I can't believe a month has gone by already and we're here gathered once again. I'm excited to catch up on the latest news in your blogs.

First order of the day is to spotlight participant #25


who happens to be Sam at The Junk House. She is 20-something, living and working in Mesa, AZ. The exciting thing is she is about to move from a 1-bedroom apartment to her very own 3-bedroom/2-bath house! She's got big plans, but a small budget so she'll be thrifting, craigslisting, yard sailing, hot gluing, begging and borrowing her way to a fully furnished, beautiful new house! My kind of gal :)

I've met bloggers outside the DIY niche and I'm happy to say that I'm following Lesa over at Baja Greenawalt's Cozy Book Nook. She's a witty and brainy lady with great spunk and I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to know her, too. By the way, she's also holding a Bargain Book Bonanza linky party so if you are a booklover like me, feel free to join in :)

When you join, please:
1. Make a post mentioning the blog (or blogs) you're following because of this linky party and why. After you wrote the post, notify the blogger you're spotlighting. This will start goodwill and treasured friendship between you and the one you're following. This newly created post is the one you will link up.

2. Include this party button in your post and I explained the reason why in here.

If you're the one being followed, please be gracious by returning the favor. What would you lose in following somebody anyway, except gain more followers? This is a virtual social gathering and it helps if your blog is sociable to make leaving a comment easier for us.

You may think that the requirements are too cumbersome but here’s the thing. We want to attract quality bloggers and an initial measure of that is if they abide by these requirements. We are not a one-night-follower-stand kind of party – we want to foster long-term relationships in which we could learn from one another and influence each other for good.
